Skepticism is good and healthy – by all means question everything, but outright assumed apathetic agnosticism is a common form of mental retardation. Just because the society for mental health has reservations about adding a specific class of mental retardation to the accepted existing list because a very large portion of the population is afflicted with it, does not mean it’s not there. In fact, the problem with so called decision makers across the world is that many of these people are also afflicted with this very problem as well. I don’t need waste words presenting evidence to convince you of this within this book because anyone anywhere can find all the evidence they need by picking up any newspaper, or examining the local T.V. guide and observing what passes for entertainment and enlightenment today. A particularly frustrating, yet optimistic factor about assumed apathetic agnosticism, let us dub this affliction A.A.A. for short, is that it’s entirely preventable, and in most existing cases treatable and curable. The difficulty in treating A.A.A. however, is convincing someone they suffer from it. The older a sufferer gets, the more difficult they are to treat. Habits form as people age and their opinions and beliefs that need to be changed in order to remove this obstacle calcify. For instance, they think its cool, or endearing to be a cynic. They also discover a power over others with A.A.A. to influence them by simply denouncing something. They are convinced that this is a part of who they are, their personality, and they are offended when approached. Prevention is the best possible cure for this malady. Many of you have spoken to a clinically retarded person before and have some experience communicating with them. Most of these people I have met knew they were different, but had no idea they were handicapped, they could not conceive of this. I believe this personal disassociation from the condition to be a strong definitive factor in the classification of this particular mental retardation. Why do I use the word retardation? It means slow. If someone is unable to directly communicate with those around them, but is capable of making a consistent good effort to do so, then this person could be described in many ways, one of which is slow. They are moving forward, but at a relatively slow pace compared to their potential. One can argue that we all have this tendency to some degree, it is a natural manifestation and trickery of the ego. I agree, but I also counter that statement with a question: Is this the common reason we are all here? Is this entire physical time / space continuum an asylum for under developed species with a variety of disassociation disorders? I think that goes without saying at this point. With treatable forms of madness, the patient needs to be cognitive of the problem, and take part in the treatment willingly. If some of you are wondering if this is becoming kind of humorous and a familiar ring to it, I think it sort of is, but in a sad way. This is beginning to sound like the next episode of South Park, or maybe the last one. There is a reason for this though. Trey Parker is well aware of the A.A.A. pandemic, and has been bringing attention to it through his work for many years now. In fact, it seems that it might be the nucleus at the very core driving his unique blend of slightly offensive comedy. So, congratulations to Mr. Parker for bringing A.A.A. into the public focus since our collective governments seem to be suffering from the end stages of it, and are at this point completely unable to take any decisive or restorative public action against the continued degradation of the collective consciousness, including but not limited to the recognition of the affliction.

We have gone well past the tipping point as a society, and those of us who are still conscious are needed to help halt this pattern of degradation and disassociation while there is still a society to salvage. If you’re old enough to read this book you’re old enough to see that this degradation has become much worse over the years, and not even a little bit better. If you were to chart the spread of A.A.A. on a graph, it might look a lot like a Fibonacci spiral in a flushing toilet bowl. Although A.A.A. is treatable in most of its forms, it is also contagious and seems to be spreading faster than it can be contained. Have no illusions, these politicians can, will, and do take every single advantage from our society and our earth until all will become reduced to ash. You might be thinking, “they can’t do that, they will be killing themselves too..”. This is correct; they will perish as well, which is another reason why we must classify this type of mindset as a clear and obvious form of mental retardation. It is up to you to awaken and enhance your consciousness, and then awaken the others before all we have built is lost and the books are burned along with the medicines and crops. It is also up to you to eradicate any tendencies or traces of such a mindset, and inoculate your children. We are at the fork in the road of our species’ evolution. On one path, is the next evolutionary stage, and on the other path, is the next stone-age.
